The Northwest Tennessee Local Food Network’s Local Food Guide magazine is the resource for finding local food in Northwest Tennessee. Discover area farmers markets, family farms, u-pick farms, agri-tourism, animal goods, artisan foods, restaurants and cafes, local food trucks, processors, beekeepers, locally-owned plant vendors and hunger-relief organizations.

“I know guests who visit our museum and heritage park from around the world will appreciate having an easy way to find locally grown foods,” said Scott Williams, president and CEO of Discovery Park of America in Union City. “Where to go eat and where to shop are the questions we hear most, so being able to hand them this guide is going to be incredibly helpful.”

Lindsey Frilling – Obion Chamber of Commerce, Scott Williams – CEO of Discovery Park of America, Samantha Goyret – Executive Director of NWTNLFN, and Weakley County Mayor Bynum received the first copy of this year’s 2021 Northwest Tennessee Local Food Guide Magazine at Discovery Park. Get yours at the nearest Farmers Market near you and other locations found at nwtnlfn.org/food-resources.

Eating local is one of the best ways to stay healthy, nourish the people you love, and support your community,” said NWTN Local Food Network Director Samantha Goyret. “As our farmers and local food businesses are working hard to bring us the best quality food — the food guide is an effort to celebrate homegrown pride, local foods, and bring communities together around eating healthy and local,” she added.

The Northwest Tennessee Local Food Guide is a magazine that not only features stories about our bountiful region, but is produced 100% locally in collaboration with the staff and volunteers of the Northwest Tennessee Local Food Network, designed and published by the Weakley County Press and printed at The Messenger.

#GetItLOCAL! “The staff of the Weakley County Press is dedicated to partnerships with communities across our region who make a positive impact for our area. We were honored to be a part of the Local Food Network’s food guide and we are proud to support and promote our farmers and small, local businesses,” Weakley County Press General Manager Lynette Wagster said.
