UT Extension Horticulture Agent Celeste Scott is a native West Tennessean who was raised on a production beef cattle and row crop farm in Gibson County. Her passion for plants began early in life. As a young woman, she ran a three-acre truck crop patch, and she worked at nurseries and garden centers throughout high school and college.
